How Jennifer Aniston’s LolaVie brand grew sales 40% with CTV ads

For its first CTV campaign, Jennifer Aniston’s DTC haircare brand LolaVie had a few non-negotiables. The campaign had to be simple. It had to demonstrate measurable impact. And it had to be full-funnel.

LolaVie used Roku Ads Manager to test and optimize creatives — reaching millions of potential customers at all stages of their purchase journeys. Roku Ads Manager helped the brand convey LolaVie’s playful voice while helping drive omnichannel sales across both ecommerce and retail touchpoints.

The campaign included an Action Ad overlay that let viewers shop directly from their TVs by clicking OK on their Roku remote. This guided them to the website to buy LolaVie products.

⚡ Meanwhile in AI

OpenAI says ChatGPT Ads has reached a $1 billion annualized revenue run rate less than 200 days after launch. The ads platform is also expanding to India, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Google may have all the AI tools, but Hollywood still has something AI can't easily manufacture: the movies, franchises, talent, and cultural reach people actually want to watch.

Anthropic has launched Claude Fable 5.1, positioning it as a more cost-efficient option for agentic workloads, with the company saying it can be up to 45% cheaper for those tasks.

Google's latest Android Drop lets Gemini help you remember where you left things in Find Hub, reduce motion sickness with Motion Assist, identify objects through Guided Vision, create and edit Google Keep notes, and personalize chats with themes and backgrounds.

Dyson just made brushing your teeth feel a little more like a tech demo. Its new CameraJet uses a 100,000-pixel camera and machine learning to spot gaps between your teeth in real time, then fires a precision jet of mouthrinse exactly where it detects one.

The camera scans 28 images per second, while the system can trigger a jet within 100 milliseconds of detecting a gap. You can even watch a live view through the MyDyson app, which also tracks coverage and gives brushing feedback.

Basically, Dyson looked at a toothbrush and thought: “What if it could see?”

Most AI systems are incredibly good at giving answers. But there’s one thing they still struggle with: knowing when they might be wrong.

In this Google DeepMind conversation, researcher Zoubin Ghahramani explains why uncertainty could be a crucial missing piece in AI, and why truly intelligent systems may need to understand their own limitations instead of answering everything with confidence.

It’s a fascinating look at why being less certain could actually make AI smarter.
