Building AI is hard. Launching it on the internet is even harder.
Because the moment millions of curious people get their hands on it, they'll discover things no internal testing team ever could.
Here's what else happened in AI while you were busy.
Google's latest AI feature lasted less than 48 hours.
ChatGPT conversations just got a lot more natural.
AI is forcing mathematicians to rewrite the rules.
Alibaba's AI beat 458 human teams.
AI mind mapping tools worth trying this week.
Unlock up to $5,000 in AWS credits.
“I often tell my students not to be misled by the name 'artificial intelligence' - there is nothing artificial about it. ”

How daily 'stock bets' hit 87% of the time
Imagine walking into a casino KNOWING you'd win 87% of the time.
That's exactly what my “stock betting” system does.
And unlike the house edge at casinos (which is only 1-15%)...
We're crushing it with stock bets that can pay off in MINUTES:
• $790 pure profit
• 185% gains
• $1,500 winners
And we do this almost every single day from 3-4 PM Eastern!
Want to place these stock bets with us? First week's FREE

⚡ Meanwhile in AI
AI is getting really good at solving math. That's exactly why mathematicians are getting nervous. A new declaration signed by leading researchers calls for clearer rules on how AI should be used in mathematics, warning that speed shouldn't come at the cost of trust, transparency, or human discovery.
Most hackathons end with people on the podium.
This time, an AI made the leaderboard. Alibaba says its latest Qwen model spent 16 days working independently on a coding competition and finished ahead of 458 out of 526 human teams. Open-source weights are expected to follow soon.
If you're building AI for Europe, the rules just got stricter. New transparency requirements are now in effect, meaning companies must clearly disclose AI-generated content and tell people when they're interacting with AI. The era of unlabeled AI is starting to come to an end.
A luxury retreat, influencer workshops, and beekeeping weren't exactly what people expected from OpenAI. The company's invite-only creator event sparked backlash online, with critics calling it tone-deaf as debates around AI's environmental impact and ethics continue to grow.
Talking to AI has always had one awkward rule. You had to wait for it to finish speaking before saying anything back. That's changing.
OpenAI rebuilt ChatGPT's voice system so GPT Live can keep listening even while it's talking. That means the conversation doesn't freeze every time the AI needs a second to think or use a tool. Instead of taking turns, you can jump in naturally, just like you would with another person.
It's the kind of upgrade you stop noticing after a few minutes, and that's exactly the point.

Imagine opening Google Earth and seeing the Eiffel Tower in ruins. Or spotting a giant crater where the Great Pyramid should be.
That's what people started making after Google added AI image generation to Google Earth. The tool let users create fake events on top of real satellite imagery, making them look surprisingly convincing. It only took a day for misinformation concerns to take over the conversation, and Google pulled the feature less than 48 hours after launching it.
